Crystals for pregnancy

For you during pregnancy unakite and moonstone can be beneficial. Moonstone can help to balance hormones and unakite emotions linked specifically with this big change. Chrysocolla is good for both you and the healthy development of your baby. You can carry all these with you 24/7. Rose quartz is nice to have around but try having a bath with rose quartz. Use rough rocks and add bubbles of your choice  If you find yourself unexpectedly drawn to a different crystal it may well be the baby calling out – yes I believe this can happen! So just add the crystal to the ones you are carrying whoever it is meant for, it can’t harm, only balance.
Opal, Moonstone and Pearl are all traditionally used to ease the birthing process. Malachite and covellite can help birth too, easing both physical and emotional pain.
Peridot has been used to stimulate birth contractions. Lepidolite is an odd suggestion, but it can help you let go of things and has been applied to aid difficult births (you won’t need that one but you might like one around anyway – it does lots of other good stuff )

Generally if you can I’d have a quartz cluster, amethyst cluster and rose quartz rock in the room with you. Coral and jade are traditional 1st stones for a child.

I hope this helps, please ask if you need more information.

Most of these crystals are on the website but the ones that aren’t I have at the unit and there’s often more choice too, such as stunning amethyst clusters and a massive stock of quartz clusters and rose quartz rock. You’re welcome to visit or order by phone 07808 730750.

Wishing you all happiness and joy

I'm often asked about crystals for pregnancy and have written about it befor both on this website and in my magazine column in Take a Break's Fate & Fortune. I was recently asked this agin, the full Q & A are posted in the Forum. But this Blog seems to reach many more people so here goes...

Wedding fever

With all this talk of weddings in the air I thought this may be a good time to revisit crystal wedding gifts and ideas.

There's the obvious, but still beautiful, rose quartz for love and friendship, angel carvings to represent the couple's heavenly love, crystal hearts to represent love, amethyst for the couple's spiritual love, relationship and health, the all singing all dancing clear quartz crystal, jade for wisdom and rhodochrosite for… well perhaps that should have been given at the hen night!!

But how about crystal wedding favours. The joy of the happy couple sharing something from their day with their close friends and family.  A beautiful idea that can be inexpensive too. A small pouch of crystals either from our treasure chest mix or specifically chosen ones. Several happy couples have recently give everyone a rose quartz crystal to help them share their love to all their friends and family on their special day.

One loving bride and groom selected 4 different large crystals to mark the path through a country house grounds to their outside ceremony. Another devoted pair marked a similar path with tumble polished amethyst and yet another with our treasure chest mix.

If it's a special gift for close friends or family then perhaps a large amethyst geode or cluster or a quartz crystal cluster bed would be the perfect unique gift.

Whether large or small crystals will always provide a unique and special gift to treasure for ever.

Why don't you add your own comment and ideas here too. And if you need help planning crystals for your special day just contact us and we'll try and help.

Best wishes and our love and crystal light to the happy royal couple and everyone else getting married :-)

Please help the ponies!

Dear Philip
I am the founder of a charity on Dartmoor that rescues moorland ponies, we are desperate to purchase some land that has come up for sale very close to our stable yard, the vendors are preferring to go to auction with the sale and not to sell before the auction. Is there a crystal that i can place on the land to aid our purchase. We are so desperate i have offered way above the asking price but with so many other prospective buyers i am afraid we may lose out. This will be crucial for are rescues anything you can suggest will be of great help, the auction takes place on the 6th May so your prompt attention would be most appreciated.

My reply...
Hi Maureen
You’re email has been forwarded by Take a Break’s Fate & Fortune magazine - What a problem! And it’s quite a quandary as to what to advise.
Citrine will bring abundance that could mean more land but could also mean NOT spending the money so you have more money for a future project or the general welfare of your rescues.
Adamite, Amethyst, Cinnabar, Citrine, Diamond, Dioptase, Garnet, Gold, Green Moss Agate, Lepidolite, Phenacite, Ruby, Spirit Quartz, Sunstone, Tektite, Tiger’s Eye, Topaz, Tourmaline and Verdelite can all be helpful in bringing abundance, the acquisition of wealth and material items. – so you could try any of these.
Green moss agate is also good for the land and may be the crystal that will bring the best outcome for all whatever that may be.
I personally like citrine and have a specific crystal that helps bring me what I need. Perhaps the ponies need one of their own? You’ll need a brand new citrine crystal. Cleanse it. Keep it with you/them 24/7 until the auction and ask it to help you specifically acquire the field for a reasonable price. You could try this with tourmaline too.
An alternative is to plant a basil plant and place a red tiger’s eye (falcon’s eye) crystal on the soil under the plant. Water well and see what it brings. Many people have found this works – have a look at my blog; here’s a link to the relevant topic http://www.thecrystalhealer.co.uk/epages/thecrystalhealer.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/thecrystalhealer/Categories/Philips_Blog&ViewAction=ViewTag&Tag=lucky%20red%20tiger's%20eye
Third option is to programme a quartz crystal with the intent of winning the land. I’ve covered this in detail in several of my books and it’s not a quick answer but if you are not aware of it and want to give it a go let me know and I’ll email some instructions.
I would also like to put this on my Facebook page and ask anyone else to send energy and healing thoughts to you, the land and of course the ponies. Please let me know if that’s OK.
I hope some of this helps.
Best wishes
Love and crystal light
Philip
AND what you can do...

Attracting new customers

One question I'm asked in one guise or another most regularly is "Can you recommend crystals or gems I could carry with me or put in a bracelet or necklace to attract new customers OR any techniques that you know to work? And can you also recommend any books on the subject?"
And you thought from the title that this was going to be a list of my most attractive customers! No - couldn't possibly as ALL my customers are attractive :-)
Back to the question...
I always work with citrine and sometimes with red tiger’s eye (falcon’s eye) and basil see my blog – Philip’s crystal blog – Oh, yes, you're here arn't you? Anyway here’s a link to the relevant pieces http://www.thecrystalhealer.co.uk/epages/thecrystalhealer.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/thecrystalhealer/Categories/Philips_Blog&ViewAction=ViewTag&Tag=lucky%20red%20tiger's%20eye

I prefer citrine and have several crystals selected specifically for the task. Firstly you need to select one new crystal just to help you attract more customers. Cleanse it and then spend some time getting to know it. Ask it to help you find more customers, or you can be as specific as you like here, and keep it with you 24/7 repeating your request daily for at least two weeks. Then keep it somewhere appropriate, such as a till in a shop or by your telephone if you take phone bookings or perhaps by your computer if you have a website and just give it a rub when you need more customers!

Other crystals that may help include Adamite, Amethyst, Cinnabar, Citrine, Diamond, Dioptase, Garnet, Gold, Green Moss Agate, Lepidolite, Phenacite, Ruby, Spirit Quartz, Sunstone, Tektite, Tiger’s Eye, Topaz, Tourmaline and Verdelite can all be helpful in the acquisition of both wealth and material items. Citrine known as the “money stone” attracts riches. Keep a crystal in your pocket, purse or wallet. Amethyst, Cinnabar and Ruby help you focus on money matters and Iolite and Stibnite can aid financial management. If you are addicted to the material world then try working with Larimar to let it float away.

I’ve also produced a CD on Prosperity with Cassandra Eason that may be of some help see

I also cover this subject in all my books in one way or another. And in closing as it says in someone else's book - may you live long and prosper.

Christmas Crystals

Christmas Crystals All sorts of things happen when the festive season starts. Some wonderful, some interesting and some of them can appear absolutely disastrous!

So what is it that causes half the planet to go into a tiz? How is it that even those who plan their festivities months in advance, you know the really organised people of the world, still have a mad rush because Aunt Edith has decided to come for lunch? Why has Dear Aunt Edith chosen today to come for lunch? She hasn’t been to us for two years and she expects lunch… She’ll expect a glass of sherry too... And what about a present? And do the kids have to give her presents too? Oh I forgot to tell you, its quarter to three in the afternoon and the date is 24th December!

First thing is to calm down. In fact don’t wait till Christmas Eve, calm down now. Relax, chill, and meditate. Try a little meditation because just ten minutes a day for a couple of weeks before Christmas will help you relax, change how you feel and make it easier for you to cope with the festivities.

I was thinking… what else happens and how can crystals help to make your life better?

Well, amethyst clears the air. An Amethyst geode (also known as a cathedral or cave) placed in a living room or dining room will help to clear and energise the air. It will make your whole home feel fresher, calmer and more welcoming.

Calcite is also very calming. Red and honey calcite are good for physical relaxation. Blue calcite works on the mind to ease any worries, whilst the green variety of calcite will help soothe your emotions and feelings. For spiritual tranquillity surround yourself with golden calcite that brings a blissful feeling to both you and those around you.

Rose quartz is the stone of love, peace and goodwill. Like a bubble bath for your emotions, its energy washes over you and gently bathes your heart in gentle pink crystal light washing away the hassles and stresses of the day. It’s a wonderful feeling on dark winter nights (or any time for that matter). Try putting some rose quartz in your bath to refresh your skin and soak any aches away and help you feel younger.

If you feel you need an energy boost, hold a garnet crystal for half an hour or carry it with you all day. It’s great for a detox and cleanses the blood so it will help rid you of all those festive toxins too!

Brightening up both your home and your energy is easy with quartz crystals. Put a cluster in any room to add sparkle, hang crystals from your tree or windows (faceted hanging crystals will generate rainbows of light when the sun hits them) and carry a small crystal with you.

Take care if you’re travelling to family or friends over the festive season. This time of year people always seem to be in a hurry or distracted by thoughts of what they’re going to buy or cook and for whom; so even if you are the most careful driver on the road others may not be as focused as they should be. Whether it’s a walk to the local corner shop or flying to see relations in Australia, carry turquoise to protect you whilst travelling and keep you safe from misfortune.

Of course not everyone enjoys the festivities and some people find this time of year emotionally difficult. Apache tears help to release deep seated emotions. If you feel uncomfortable approaching this season keep an Apache tear with you. It will help you to gently let go of the past and slowly feel better about the festive season.

Aqua aura balances your energy field and protects you too. It adds colour, lifts you up and lets you down slowly. It gives you extra strength when you need it. And if you want to get away from it all it titanium quartz is great too as it aids astral travel and access to other dimensions. Angel aura quartz helps you connect to your angels guides and relatives who have passed over.

Now if your neighbours keep having noisy parties and don't invite you try putting a piece of pyrite on each window ledge. It’s magical and in no time at all you won’t even notice them.

And after it’s all over malachite will help you have a peaceful nights sleep.

Whatever you choose to celebrate I wish you a happy and peaceful festive season.

Merry Christmas

Philip

Communication crystals

I recently posted a comment on facebook about the worst political speeches of all time, and unsurprisingly the winner was Mr Bush, 2nd came Arnold Schwarzenegger. Obviously what they were missing in their toolbox were crystals for communication.

Communication is vital for us all as it affects so many things. It's not just speech and talking, but also writing, art or any type of creativity or creative pursuit, body language and even the pheromones we give off.

Blue lace agate is the easiest crystal to start with. Just carry it with you and place it on your throat for 20 - 30 minutes each day. You can also try aqua aura, blue topaz, indicolite (blue tourmaline), tanzanite and turquoise.

Mookaite improves communication skills. Erythrite aids conversation. Blue quartz helps you express what's on your mind. Barite assists with the explanation of ideas. For public speaking try working with amethyst, septarian and turquoise. Your body language can be improved with smokey quartz.

Perhaps send one of these to your local MP!!

Computer crystals

All screens give off positive ions, which make us feel drained and low. So if you spend a lot of time in front of your computer try placing a fluorite crystal between you and the screen. This will absorb the excess of positive ions, releasing negative ions that make us feel bright, awake and focussed. It's the same feeling you get walking by a crashing sea or the freshness in the air after a rain storm.

Amethyst can also be revitalising and tourmaline protective to any negative vibes.

"Shift happens!" Energy shift 09/09/09

There seems to be a lot of strange ramblings on the internet about a possible energy shift on 9th September so I thought I'd add my own crystalline thoughts to these! As the saying goes "shift happens!"

There are always energy shifts going on. Some people are more sensitive than others to these shifts and all sorts of feelings can be experienced. I always think that it is the small changes that can shift us in a big way. Look out for these subtle shifts in the flow of universal energy and try and sit in the flow of the energy - don't try and fight it just go with it and the changes will speed into your life. All change is good, even if it feels uncomfortable at the time. Without change nothing happens and as I've already said "shift happens" and you can't stop it, but you can make it easier with crystals. (I said I'd add my crystalline thoughts!)

Crystals for change: metamorphosis quartz let's you see changes you need to make and helps you to act on this information. Eudialyte and iolite ease the process of change and help to soothe your emotions that bubble up along the way. Eudialyte in particular feels as if it's gently bathing your heart centre in healing energy. Amethyst, Apache tears, black banded agate, dioptase, moonstone and ruby can all help ease change in different ways too and crocoite (known as the divorce stone) helps to ease the really big shifts that take place in your life.

What's your favourite crystal?

The three most popular crystals in the shop in order are: amethyst, rose quartz and quartz crystal. But people are always asking for different crystals either to help with a specific condition or situation in their life or because it's their favourite crystal. My favourite crystals are tourmaline, citrine and blue quartz. So I wondered about everyone else... What's your favourite crystal?
