Smoky Quartz Stars for Crystal Healing
Placing Quartz crystals around the crystals on a chakra will enhance the flow of energy, as well as grounding and bringing spirit guides in. All the crystals should point in the same direction relative to the chakra crystal i.e. 'in' towards or 'out' from the Chakra Crystals

Method:
After you place crystals on the body dowse each chakra asking "does this chakra need a quartz star"? More on Dowsing and pendulums
·                If the answer is no then move to the next chakra.
·                If the answer is yes then ask "do the crytals need to point in"?
·                If the anwer is yes then work with the crystals pointing in.
·                If the anwer is no then work with the crystals pointing out.
You don't need to ask if they should point out; that would be tautological.

Effects
The crystals pointing In focuses more energy into the chakra and enhances the action of the crystals it is placed around. It is good for blasting through blocks or cleaning out old or stagnant energies which are no longer needed. This layout is also wonderful for re-energising the body. Try a chakra set with 28 small quartz crystals around the chakras.
When the crystals are pointing Out the treatment feels much more gentle like energy being massaged out. It facillitates a gentle release from the chakra through the body and aura. It tends to be very calming and relaxing.

Note in any single treatment some, all or no chakras may need quartz stars around them. Each one may be pointing in or out and they may be all the same; mostly the same with one different; all different alternatviely in and out; all different in a haphazard pattern; some not requiring quartz stars or no quartz stars needed at all.

Crystal Grids
A similar process can be applied around any crystal or group of crystals and create a crystal grid to amplify the energy of the crystals within the grid. Always have the crystals pointing "in". This is a great method for Distance Healing and can be used to send the crystal energy anywhere through the vital energy field. you can activate the crystals in the grid by moving a quartz crystal point or quartz master crystal or crystal wand in a clockwise motion pointing at each crystal in turn about 3 - 10 cm above the crystal grid.
