Writing and recording
9.30 at night, just finished writing the Reiki workshop I'm recording tomorrow at Paradise Music. No release date yet but I'll let you know when it's coming out. A great experience for me, who knows perhaps it will lead to a book on Reiki?

Back in the world of CDs
Since recording my last CD, The Little Crystal Meditation Album, last year I've been working in the recording studio in my Executive Producer role with Cassandra Eason and Llewellyn recording Cassandra Eason's Chronicles of Magic. Now the 7 albums are almost finished, the first 2 CDs are already out, Love Magick and Moon Magick. So it's my turn and I'm back in the studio on Monday finishing a meditation album I started in 2005 and recording a new Reiki Workshop.

What's your favourite crystal?
The three most popular crystals in the shop in order are: amethyst, rose quartz and quartz crystal. But people are always asking for different crystals either to help with a specific condition or situation in their life or because it's their favourite crystal. My favourite crystals are tourmaline, citrine and blue quartz. So I wondered about everyone else... What's your favourite crystal?

Spy planes, bad drivers and crystals for eyesight
Just read that the new US spy plane can read a number plate from two miles away up in the sky. This got me thinking about some of the bad driving I've witnessed in the last 24 hours and it makes me wonder how they can pass their diving test having to read a number plate at 20 meters when they can't even see a car! If you're taking your test and worried about your eyesight try placing fire agate on your closed eyelids for 30 minutes or carrying a jade crystal with you and bathing your eyes in a snowflake obsidian elixir.

A little bit of crystal magic (or crystal magick)
Here's a little bit of crystal magic: Lodestone has magnetic properties and pulls things towards you. So try placing a lodestone crystal next to another to amplify its affects and draw its energy to you. For example to bring love into your life you might place your lodestone next to a rose quartz crystal, for health a quartz crystal, success aventurine and for money citrine or gold tiger's eye. Use your imagination and try lodestone with different crystals to see the effects. Some people prefer to spell the magic as magick, but I feel it's all the same - your intent is what is important.

Crystals for travel
I seem to be being asked a lot recently about crystals which will protect you whilst travelling. Remembering that a journey can be a walk to the corner shop, a trip round the world or following your path through life these crystals might help: turquoise and aquamarine are always good for any type of travel or you could also try moonstone, schalenblende, tourmaline and yellow jasper.

Wisdom of the Dark Goddess
Well it's 11th August and the Wisdom of the Dark Goddess workshop on 31st October is completely sold out. We've added an extra date on Sunday 1st November. Crystals for babies
I've just been asked by a customer for crystals for her babies. 2 children sleep in the same room and both have disturbed sleep, the mother thinking that an energy or entity is disturbing them. I advised 3 crystals: tourmaline for protection, chrysocolla for the health and well-being of the babies and rose quartz to help create a loving, warm cuddle for the children at night. She instantly realised that the tourmaline was needed by everyone in the family!

Crystal friends
Just a quick thought about crystals. How do you teat them? As tools? As things to use? As friends?
When you work more and more with crystals you'll find, like I do, that some become friends. And just like friends some will stay with you throughout your life whilst others will come and go as passing acquaintances.
Take another look at your crystals and ask which ones want to be friends today? Perhaps you'll notice one jump out? Carry this crystal with you today or if it's a big crystal try paying it special attention and see what happens.
