Dear Philip
I am the founder of a charity on Dartmoor that rescues moorland ponies, we are desperate to purchase some land that has come up for sale very close to our stable yard, the vendors are preferring to go to auction with the sale and not to sell before the auction.Is there a crystal that i can place on the land to aid our purchase. We are so desperate i have offered way above the asking price but with so many other prospective buyers i am afraid we may lose out.This will be crucial for are rescues anything you can suggest will be of great help, the auction takes place on the 6th May so your prompt attention would be most appreciated.

Citrine will bring abundance that could mean more land but could also mean NOT spending the money so you have more money for a future project or the general welfare of your rescues.
Adamite, Amethyst, Cinnabar, Citrine, Diamond, Dioptase, Garnet, Gold, Green Moss Agate, Lepidolite, Phenacite, Ruby, Spirit Quartz, Sunstone, Tektite, Tiger’s Eye, Topaz, Tourmaline and Verdelite can all be helpful in bringing abundance, the acquisition of wealth and material items. – so you could try any of these.
Green moss agate is also good for the land and may be the crystal that will bring the best outcome for all whatever that may be.
I personally like citrine and have a specific crystal that helps bring me what I need. Perhaps the ponies need one of their own? You’ll need a brand new citrine crystal. Cleanse it. Keep it with you/them 24/7 until the auction and ask it to help you specifically acquire the field for a reasonable price. You could try this with tourmaline too.
An alternative is to plant a basil plant and place a red tiger’s eye (falcon’s eye) crystal on the soil under the plant. Water well and see what it brings. Third option is to programme a quartz crystal with the intent of winning the land. I’ve covered this in detail in several of my books and it’s not a quick answer but if you are not aware of it and want to give it a go let me know and I’ll email some instructions.

I prefer citrine and have several crystals selected specifically for the task. Firstly you need to select one new crystal just to help you attract more customers. Cleanse it and then spend some time getting to know it. Ask it to help you find more customers, or you can be as specific as you like here, and keep it with you 24/7 repeating your request daily for at least two weeks. Then keep it somewhere appropriate, such as a till in a shop or by your telephone if you take phone bookings or perhaps by your computer if you have a website and just give it a rub when you need more customers!
 
Other crystals that may help include Adamite, Amethyst, Cinnabar, Citrine, Diamond, Dioptase, Garnet, Gold, Green Moss Agate, Lepidolite, Phenacite, Ruby, Spirit Quartz, Sunstone, Tektite, Tiger’s Eye, Topaz, Tourmaline and Verdelite can all be helpful in the acquisition of both wealth and material items. Citrine known as the “money stone” attracts riches. Keep a crystal in your pocket, purse or wallet. Amethyst, Cinnabar and Ruby help you focus on money matters and Iolite and Stibnite can aid financial management. If you are addicted to the material world then try working with Larimar to let it float away.

Many people ask about crystals that I personally work with. I'm always wary of this question because we are all drawn to the crystals we each need at any point in time. However, when I'm writing my trusty citrine is never far away. Other crystals will come and go. Just now I'm also having help from a Tibetan quartz crystal with some black hematite inclusions and a quartz crystal with silver tourmaline inside. Each of these bring something to the way I write.

In 1993 I opened iSiS the first crystal shop and alternative healing centre in the UK in St Albans. Then it was described as the Crystal Reiki Healing Centre which is still above the door. In 1995 I moved iSiS to Market Place in St Albans and since the beginning have always strived to help people on their own unique individual path, wherever it may have taken them. Those of you who know me know I have a passion for crystals which is brought out in my books and CDs and I've also worked with many other alternative ideas and therapies too.

From the time at "Little iSiS" in Catherine Street, through our 5 store expansion up until my illness last year iSiS in all her guises has survived and prospered and it was a joy to see such a wonderful and clean end over last weekend when we closed the store. Although I couldn't be there myself, my wife led the team brilliantly.

On Wednesday I was taken to the shop so I could personally hand the keys over and close the shop doors for the last time. It was an emotional experience, closing 17 years of my life. But I left with a happy smile focused on a healthy future because, after my recent experiences, my outlook on life has changed. Things that were once vitally important are now irrelevant and simple things are beautiful again. 

The past few days have been spent starting to sort out everything. The stock for the website, picking and packing orders, and shredding the mountain of paperwork that came out of iSiS. My wife's been doing most of this as I'm just not up to doing anything much yet. And of course some of my crystal friends have helped me on the way too...

I found a ruby crystal on Monday that gave me strength and energy to flow through it all and a citrine crystal which as well as bringing energy, helps with my physical healing and brought great abundance from a visit from a wholesaler friend of mine :-) 

As we started to sort everything out at home on Thursday, my wife gave me a heart shaped strawberry quartz tumble stone which has helped to channel away the excess and attached energy of iSiS which is no longer in my life whilst still being able to hold on to the love and being thankful for all that I have received from her for all these years. Strawberry quartz has this great ability to take away the energies we no longer need in our lives. I found a quartz crystal that must have been with me for many, many years without me even knowing as it was amongst crystals from our treasure chest that had spilt behind it when it was put in place. This quartz crystal has helped bring clarity to my thoughts...

Just a thought... this used to be the introduction to my editorial in The Dawning for many years, 60 issues, from a photocopied sheet of A4 paper to 10,000 copies of the magazine... anyway the thought that I was just having is how remarkable I found the peace of not being responsible for everything on Thursday. Not being responsible for the building and alarms, for the staff and their jobs and their welfare and their well-being, for all the clients, therapists, psychics and customers that come into my life daily. Even when I'm not there, as I haven't been for so long, the weight of responsibility is both heavy and unnoticed. Like a lead yolk on my shoulders and a feather floating through the universe at exactly the same moment...

I keep being asked about combining crystals, which crystals can you keep together? which crystals work well together and crystals that amplify other crystals. The simple rule (if there are any rules?) is that you can keep any combination of crystals together. Many people say that when they combine crystals they all work better. As each crystal is working not just on a specific issue but on an aspect or specific cause of the issue it is hardly surprising to find this. For example rose quartz, moonstone and chrysocolla all improve fertility but all work slightly differently. One will be the right one for you but we have little idea which (you could dowse these with your crystal pendulum). When you combine all three they always work, so they "appear" to be working better as a group than one by itself. As crystals work by balancing whatever they're working on, if you don't need a crystal it will just look pretty and do no harm.

There are many crystal combinations that work well together such as citrine and crazy lace agate for confidence or tourmaline and smokey quartz (smoky quartz)for protection. There are obviously too many to go into, the positive combinations are endless, so try them for yourself.

Ruby amplifies the effect of any crystal it's placed near. Other crystals are reputed to do this too such as green fluorite and diamond. And some change the effects like Herkimer diamond which brings out the spiritual side of any other crystal.

But, as I said, there are no rules... so try your own combinations.

Rain patters down on the windows, thoughts come and go floating through my mind. Meditation brings peace and allows healing energy to flow. I notice the citrine crystal in my pocket. Citrine brings light, energy, laughter and joy to any rainy day. And of course this sets my brain in motion.

Firstly jasper helps lift your mood whist amazonite and calcite ease your fears and worries making you feel better. Quartz crystal brings light and sparkle into your life and carnelian energy. Copper, lepidolite and peridot are all "feel better" stones doing what it says on the tin! Chrysocolla can help any hormonal imbalance bringing you down and chrysoprase helps you see through any confusion in your mind.
