Every now and again I come across a new type of crystal that says WOW! It jumps up and down, waves and shouts and sings and throws a bucket of cold water on your face! Then lets you gently bathe and relax in its glorious crystal light… And these Blue Mist Lemurian Quartz Crystals from Columbia are one such type of crystal.
The Blue Mist Crystals were formed in the mountains of Columbia over 100 million years ago. During their lifetime there was a 20 million year crisis when they were internally fractured and broken by the earth’s tumultuous upheavals. And after each one of these catastrophes the crystals healed themselves internally giving rise to the appearance of the blue mist. The yellowish colours near the base are due to the presence of another mineral, limonite.
The super clarity of the crystal tip flows down the crystal into the self-healed blue mist in the middle of the crystal and grounds at the limonite at the base. Somewhere in between the Blue Mist Crystal’s energy dives into your solar plexus and grounds your creative ideas into reality.
I gave these Blue Mist Crystals to 10 students who each reported similar feelings to those which I had found with these amazing crystals.
As a crystal healer I believe that Columbian Blue Mist Lemurian Quartz Crystals have the following qualities:
They make you feel both like a young child and an old wise person at the same time.
They smell musky at the limonite bottom end whilst the clear point smells like fresh mountain air. Try smelling your crystals if you haven’t before! Each type of crystal smells differently and most people can sense the subtle fragrance.
The focus of the energy from the Blue Mist Quartz Crystal is in the solar plexus.

What happens in a Crystal Healing Treatment?

Crystal Therapists work in different ways so this is written from my perspective. 

In a Crystal Healing Treatment I will start by asking how you feel, why you've come to see me and we'll fill in a consent form with some simple standard information. We may talk a little about life, the universe and anything you like. I'll ask you to lie on the therapy couch. It's quite comfortable and there's no need to remove any clothing. Then I'll start selecting crystals especially for you and placing them where they need to be on your body. I may work with a crystal pendulum or completely intuitively. I may also have selected some crystals for you before you arrive. Once the crystals have been placed, I will work with other crystal healing techniques to activate the crystals and enhance the treatment. Sometimes I feel the need to include other therapies such as Reiki or Traditional Taoist Healing. I may leave you for a short while in a blissful crystal energy bath. At the end of the treatment we'll have a little time to talk and I'll check you are grounded before you leave. Crystal treatments really are a treat!
